Trap a Cat

I come up the stairs from the laundry room and find Don eyeballing the stairs down and ready to take that first step.

Kristy: Where are you going?

Don: I need to go downstairs. I need to look for something.

Kristy: You know you can’t go down the stairs alone. You might fall or get lost and wander outside.

Don: The gate has been open all day.

Kristy: It’s only noon. What do you need?

Don: I’m trying to trap a cat.

Kristy: Which cat? What did you do?

He flings open the bedroom door, and Mickey flew out to safety.

Kristy: Why are you torturing cats?

Don: What did you do with the sunshine?

Kristy: Let’s get you back to your TV program while I clean up the breakfast dishes.

Note to Self: Oh boy, now I’m in control and responsible for bad weather? If he wants to talk about where the sun doesn’t shine, I have a few ideas.
