Don: Did you sleep here last night?
Kristy: Yes.
Don: On the couch?
Kristy: No, in my bedroom with those rotten cats you had to have.
Don: What about Hunter?
Kristy: He went home yesterday.
Don: He went HOME?
Kristy: Yes, he went home because today is Monday and he had to work.
Don: Oh, that’s right. I expected him to arrive with coffee.
Kristy: You are a day off. Today is Monday.
Don: Do we have any appointments this week?
Kristy: No, your calendar is wide open. What did you have in mind?
Don: Who is sleeping in my bed?
Kristy: You are.
Don: Where’s Hunter?
Kristy: He had to go home yesterday. Why don’t we plan a trip out of town for your birthday on Friday?
Don: OK. What day is today?
Kristy: Today is Monday, and that means Seattle Seahawks play tonight. Better get rested up so you don’t miss the game.
Note to Self: He will be lucky to stay awake and focused for more than the 1st Quarter. My sports buddy is gone.
