Kristy: Would you like a hot cup of coffee on this chilly November morning?
Don: No, I’m leaving.
Kristy: Leaving to go where?
Don: To go home.
Kristy: This is your home. Why is that so hard to understand?
Don: I don’t know. Maybe because everything changed.
Kristy: I understand change and unfamiliarity, but you’ve been told a million times this is your home. You keep refusing to believe any of us when we tell you there is no other home anymore. If you want to leave, you need to choose some other destination.
Don: That’s not how the military works.
Kristy: You’ve never worked with or been a part of the military in your entire life.
Don: Yeah, I’ll have a cup of coffee. Make it a mocha.
