Kristy: Did you eat breakfast?
Don: No, not yet.
Kristy: What would you like? Eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, pancakes?
Don: Cereal.
Kristy: Honey Bunches of Oats, Honey Nut Cheerios, Apple Jacks, Frosted Flakes, or Fruit Loops? Wait. Where are the Cheerios and Frosted Flakes?
I find empty boxes of both Cheerios and Frosted Flakes in the garbage can, which is sitting next to a broom and dustpan. I then notice some scattered Cheerios on the floor. I assume one box fell on the floor and someone ate the second box.
Kristy: Are you even hungry?
Don: No.
Kristy: That would be because it looks like you already ate Honey Nut Cheerios and Frosted Flakes.
Don: …. and cookies.
Why do I bother asking? I just wasted 10 minutes trying to find out if he wanted breakfast that he already fixed for himself.
Don: Did you see those cats running up and down the stairs? Then they came up here, and I heard clicking sounds. They had rocks in between their toes.
Kristy: Clicking noises? Like castanets?
Don: Yeah.
Kristy: I think you are missing Mexico, which is where we should be right now.
Note to Self: He doesn’t think there’s anything odd about cats with castanets.
