Aha Moment

Don shuffles/walks/stumbles all the way up 6 steps to my office to ask me if I know anyone who collects disposable diapers?

Kristy: Collects what?

Don: Disposables.

Kristy: Disposable underwear like you use?

Don: Yeah.

Kristy: Are you talking used disposable underwear?

Don: Yeah.

Kristy: Are you serious? Do you think someone would want dirty disposable diapers for a collection?

Don: Is there someone who can help with garbage and laundry?

Kristy: I do laundry tomorrow and the garbage collection is Friday.

Don: My garbage is full.

Kristy: OK, so I can go get that now if you like?

Don: But my garbage is full.

Kristy: I understand. Garbage can is full and I will go get it now. What does that have to do with disposable diaper collections?

He turns around, leans forward, pulls down his pants and invites me to take a look. I take a peek and experience an “Aha” moment.

Note to Self: Doh! I guess re-arranging the words he used and reading between the lines would have delivered the correct message.

Tomayto-Tomahto.
